What if six hours of training could turbo charge your leadership capability? With renewed core people skills, today's leaders are better equipped to succeed in the current environment of relentless change. Commonly, leaders are told to "lead from the inside out," to be authentic, and to be the change they want to see. Rarely are leaders taught how to do these things. In this moment of constant disruption, leaders need to solidify the core people skills that drive success. Our Leadership Edge development sprint helps leaders revisit and renew the core abilities that foster authentic and effective leadership. Over the course of four virtual live training sessions in a small cohort environment, leaders will increase self-awareness, improve communication skills, practice baseline strategies for building trust on teams, including leveraging the unique strengths of team members, and fostering improved collaboration and agility. If that seems like a lot for just six hours of training, it's because the skills we will practice are THAT pivotal to everything leaders do. It's the basics we think we all know, but struggle to implement on a daily basis. COHORTS: This course is delivered to a cohort of up to 12 leaders from a single organization or multiple organizations. We do not have a requirement that participants be a leader of a certain level. At Highrise Vista, we consider everyone to have leadership potential. However, please note that the program is designed for people who have teams reporting to them. LEARNING OBJECTIVES & JOURNEY: Market conditions, strategic imperatives, team members, and technological and market forces may all change rapidly and drastically, but the seeds of successful and effective leadership remain consistent. The secret is focusing on what is within your sphere of control as a leader – yourself and your behavior. The seeds of effective leadership are self-knowledge, humility, and cultural intelligence. Everything a leader does and says is observed and influences how their team – and ultimately their organization – operates. It’s a tall order to pay close attention to everything you say and do. What can a leader do to focus this energy on the most impactful efforts? How does a leader get the most return on their team development investment? This course empowers leaders to become the cultivators of their own high performing team ecosystem. The course explores these foundational elements: 1. Leading from the Inside Out with Cultural Intelligence (with Optional Assessment + Coaching & Individual Work) 2. Your Leadership Persona (Purpose, Vision, Values) 3. Interpersonal Infrastructure (Team) 4. Team Dynamics: Alignment and Accountability The learning journey consists of taking an optional 20-minute assessment and attending 4 90-minute group training sessions with the cohort. If you choose to take the assessment you will also have two 1-hour coaching sessions with Dr. Sarah Nodarse. Highrise Vista provides all learning materials (course modules, discussion guides, and worksheets).
